Direct Drive Delivery Across Ontario, Canada and the United States

Power Link provides dedicated direct drive transportation from confirmed Ontario pickup areas to destinations across Ontario, Canada and the US. This service is designed for urgent, high-value or operationally critical boxes, parts, pallets and commercial goods that need focused point-to-point movement.

When waiting for a standard network is not practical, direct drive service gives your shipment a dedicated transportation plan. It is commonly used for production-critical parts, emergency replacements, urgent inventory, high-value goods and intercity deliveries with firm deadlines.

What Is Direct Drive Delivery?

Direct drive is a dedicated ground-transportation service in which an appropriate vehicle is dispatched for one customer's shipment and travels from pickup toward the delivery destination under a route planned for that order. Exact stops, driver requirements and delivery timing are confirmed during booking.

Unlike a routine courier or shared freight service, direct drive is built around the needs of a specific shipment. That can reduce transfers and help provide clearer communication when timing, security or continuity of handling is important.

When Should You Use Direct Drive?

  • A production line is waiting for a replacement component
  • A customer or jobsite needs an urgent part
  • High-value or fragile goods require focused handling and fewer transfers
  • Boxes, skids or pallets must travel between Ontario cities the same day
  • A shipment needs to move across Canada on a dedicated ground route
  • A Canada-US or US-Canada shipment has a strict deadline
  • Standard parcel or shared freight timing will not meet the requirement
